INSTRUCTIONS FOR SUBMISSION (AUTHOR GUIDES)

 

All submissions must adhere to the following guidelines:

Full papers must be submitted with one fileICBE-Proceedings-Manuscript-Template version (Please make best use of the template).

It is hoped that this list will be useful during the final checking of an article prior to sending it to the journal's Editor for review. Please consult this Guide for Authors for further details of any item. In particular, the following must be addressed and met the requirements and guidelines:

 

Publication Ethics and Publication Malpractice

      The journal is committed to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics and takes all possible measures against any publication malpractices. All authors submitting their works to the journal for publication as original articles attest that the submitted works represent their authors’ contributions and have not been copied or plagiarized in whole or in part from other works. The authors acknowledge that they have disclosed all and any actual or potential conflicts of interest with their work or partial benefits associated with it.

     

Word Count

      For inclusion in ICBE Proceedings Journal, authors are encouraged to write manuscripts concisely. As a guide, ICBE Proceedings Journal articles should be about 3000 - 7000 words in length in an MS-Word file, No PDF file).

 

Citation and Reference Style Guides

      Per ICBE Proceedings "Citation and Reference Style Guides" authors are expected to adhere to the guidelines of APA (American Psychological Association). Please provide full information of publications complying with the APA reference style. Please ensure that every reference cited in text is also present in the reference list (and vice versa).

 

Abstract [Most Important]

     Abstract must adhere to the following: A concise and factual abstract is required. Please write abstract to reach about 200 words in total for this purpose. The abstract should describe the following items in order of:  1) the purpose of the research (for example. The study investigates/examines…, but NO research background statements/problem statements at the beginning), 2) data, materials, and methodology (for example. This study employs samples/survey data/time series data of ….), 3) the results (for example, The results show/reveal that ……), and 4) major findings (for example, The findings of this study suggest that …but NO suggestions/recommendations/implications) in an unstructured manner. An abstract is often presented separately from the article, so it must be able to stand alone.

 

Keywords (up to 5)

     Please provide Maximum of 5 keywords separated by comma (,), crucial to the appropriate indexing of the papers are to be given. e.g.: Financial Economics, Emerging Markets, Finance.

 

JEL Classification Code

     Immediately after keywords, provide 3- 5 JEL Classification codes. These codes will be used for indexing purposes.

 

No Footnotes, but Endnotes Acceptable

      ICBE Proceedings does not accept Footnotes due to technical problems of online publication. Please convert all footnotes to endnotes, otherwise please incorporate all footnotes into text at its best. 

 

Tables and Figures

     Number tables consecutively in accordance with their appearance in the text. Avoid vertical rules. Tables must be adjustable. Be sparing in the use of tables and ensure that the data presented in tables do not duplicate results described elsewhere in the article. A paper in ICBE Proceedings from now on may include a maximum of six (6) tables and figures in total.

Maximum Number of Submissions 

     Each registered author is entitled to have a maximum of TWO papers included in the ICBE Proceedings.

 

Decisions on Submissions 

     Final decisions will be communicated within 1-2 weeks period upon having received the complete submission package: 1) ICBE-Proceedings-Manuscript-Template, and 2) a signed ICBE2021-Registration-Form.

     - All of the references cited in the body of the paper must be presented at references, complying with APA style.

     -  Manuscripts that do not conform to the publication guidelines will not be published.
